Inspiration:
Freesias have always been a symbol of spring for me (not the only one though! 🌸). The reason for that is that my father would always buy me a bouquet of them on the first day of spring. This is the historical reason, but I also think there is something exciting and refreshing in the set of colors one sees in a bouquet of freesias. The sunshine yellow, pink, purple, violet… together they form an energizing palette that breathes life into any interior.
Technical information:
Original watercolor painting on high quality watercolor paper, 21x29 cm. Painting comes unframed.
Images:
I add photos of the framed painting in the natural light, so it is easier to picture them in the interior. However, please consider that colors will appear different from screen to screen, they also vary depending on the light setup and will present differently in the frame of your choice :)
Note: As I never waste a sheet of paper, sometimes the other side of the painting may feature splashes of paint or even another painting, one deemed by myself for some reason too imperfect (that’s quite cruel but it happens)
